It’s the process of recovering value from retired business IT instead of paying to throw it away. We inventory and assess your equipment, securely wipe or destroy every data-bearing device, and buy back or remarket assets with market value. We recycle everything without resale value. You recover value from eligible assets and receive documentation for the entire process. Liquidation is one part of a full IT asset disposition program.

Recycling breaks equipment down into raw materials, eliminating its resale value. Liquidation helps recover that value first. We test, grade, and resell working equipment on the secondary market, then recycle any assets we cannot resell. Recycling is a disposal line item. Liquidation turns retired IT into recovered budget.

It depends on age, brand, configuration, and current secondary-market demand but as a general guide:

• Holds value well: enterprise servers, storage arrays, and networking gear from the last five to seven years, especially Dell, HPE, Cisco, Lenovo, and other recognized brands.
• Usually has resale value: business-class laptops, desktops, and workstations under about six years old.
• Usually doesn’t: Consumer-grade equipment, CRT and older LCD monitors, and most hardware over roughly eight years old. We recycle these items for free.

We have two structures, depending on the lot:

• Upfront buyout. Where the value is clear, with a known laptop fleet and a recent server refresh, we make a firm offer and pay on collection.
• Revenue share. For larger or mixed lots where value depends on testing and market timing, we remarket the assets and you receive an agreed percentage of proceeds, with a settlement statement showing what sold and for how much.

Logistics are quoted per project based on volume, site access, and labor required and netted against recovered value rather than billed to you separately. On most projects with meaningful resale value, collection costs you nothing out of pocket. Pure-disposal loads are covered by our free e-waste pickup. You’ll see the complete picture in your assessment before you agree to proceed.

In simple five steps:

1. Assess. You send an inventory list, or we walk the site. No cost, no obligation.
2. Propose. You get an estimated value range, the payment structure, logistics plan, and timeline in writing.
3. Collect. We de-rack, decommission, and palletize on-site if you need it or collect directly if your team has equipment staged.
4. Sanitize and grade. Every data-bearing device is wiped or destroyed, then equipment is tested and graded.
5. Settle. Final valuation, payment, and your full documentation package

Local projects are scheduled within three days and collected in a single visit. Data destruction and grading are typically completed within 7 business days of collection, with final valuation and payment following. Larger multi-site or data center decommissioning projects are phased; you will get a firm timeline with your assessment.
