The cost depends on how much equipment you have, where it is, how much data destruction is involved, and how much of the hardware can be resold, for larger inventories, recovered value can offset the project cost entirely. It depends on what happens to the hardware next. If a device is being retired for good, the storage is physically destroyed. If the hardware still has resale value or has to stay in service, the drive is sanitized to the NIST SP 800-88 method instead, so the data is unrecoverable but the equipment remains usable. Your documentation records which devices were destroyed, which were sanitized, and by what method. Where you need to see it happen, we also offer on-site data destruction at your own premises.
It depends on volume and site access. Send us a rough inventory and your deadline and we will confirm a schedule before anything is committed. If you are working to a lease-end, office move, audit or data center shutdown date, tell us the date and we will work back from it.
