California Privacy Rights

Last updated: October 14, 2026

This section applies to California residents and adds to the policy above. It explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under California law (the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA).

What we collect and where it comes from

In the last 12 months we have collected:

  • Identifiers: name, email, phone, address, business name, IP address, and cookie, device and ad-click IDs.
  • Service information: the services you ask about, item and device counts, and your pickup, drop-off and destruction records.
  • Internet activity: pages you view on our site, how you reached it (for example, which ad you clicked), and the forms you send.
  • Approximate location: from your ZIP code or IP address.
  • Call information: when you call a number shown on our website or in our ads, Google routes the call and reports its time, length and the caller’s area code to us. Calls placed directly from our ads may be recorded; you will hear a notice at the start.

This comes from you (forms, calls, emails and visits) and from the website tools described below. We use it for the purposes in “How We Use Your Information.” We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by California law.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell your personal information for money. Our website uses advertising and analytics tools from Google (Google Ads, Google Analytics) and Meta (Facebook). These let Google and Meta collect identifiers and browsing activity from your visit. We also send Google encrypted (hashed) contact details so it can tell us which ads led to a pickup request or a pickup. California law may treat this as “selling” or “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. The categories involved are identifiers, internet activity and service information. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

How to opt out

  • Click Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information at the bottom of any page.
  • Or turn on Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We treat a GPC signal as an opt-out for that browser, and we don’t share the details of any request you send us while it is on.
  • Or email [email protected] with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.”

Your other rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, where it came from, why we use it and who we disclose it to, and to give you a copy. You can also ask us to delete or correct it. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

To make a request, email [email protected] or call (619) 889-1305. We’ll confirm receipt within 10 business days and answer within 45 days. We verify requests by matching details you give us (such as the email or phone you used with us) against our records. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your signed permission.

How long we keep information

  • Service records (pickups, drop-offs, certificates of destruction, invoices): 7 years, for tax and legal reasons.
  • Requests and messages that don’t lead to a service: 3 years.
  • Website analytics: up to 14 months in Google Analytics.
  • Cookies: as listed in the Cookies section below, from one session up to 2 years.

Do Not Track

There is no common standard for the browser “Do Not Track” setting, and our website does not respond to it. We do honor Global Privacy Control as described above.
